Explosive Belgian rockers The Sore Losers are unleashing their fifth full length album since the band started out back in 2009. “Ultra Elektric” is released by Suburban Records worldwide on October, 22nd, 2021. After the release, the band will be touring extensively throughout the Benelux, France and Germany.
The Sore Losers presented their previous album, Gracias Señor, live for the first time at the Pukkelpop 2018 festival in a packed Marquee (cap 10.000). They have sold out their homebase venue Ancienne Belgique (cap. 2.000) and played +50,000 capacity festivals like Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Pinkpop. The band have done several Benelux headline tours and in the fall of 2017 they went on their first headline tour in France, where they had been playing supportshows since October 2016. Speaking of supports, the band has been on tour with Boss Hog, Kaiser Chiefs, Wolfmother and White Denim. Also in 2017, they made their US debut in NYC and at SXSW and went for the second time to play in Japan. Their single Nightcrawler has been featured in US by Conan O’Brian and Guitar World.
The video was shot at the legendary Album De La Semaine TV show on Canal+ in France. Got It Bad, another single from their previous album Skydogs, is well on its way to reach 2,5 million streams.
Conan O’Brien (US) - Rock out all day long to The Sore Losers.
Classic Rock Magazine (UK) - Sabbath-esque bastard-blues boys work the heavy blues and proto-punk templates exceptionally well. These Belgians’ breakthrough Skydogs is a winning splice of punk and heavy rock.
Kerrang! (UK) - Belgian rockers set the world ablaze on ambitious third album. It ebbs and flows between heavy and heavenly. Their bluey rock meets ‘70s psychedelia twang makes songs like ‘Got It Bad’ and ‘Cherry Cherry’ feel like floor-fillers for one groovy rock’n’roll party.
Heavy Music Magazine (AUS) - The Sore Losers are one of the rock finds of 2016 and if you love your rock music this is one album that you need in your collection.
